Compare
How Chartping compares.
Chartping is a read-only risk monitor: it watches daily loss, drawdown-from-peak and margin level across every MT4/MT5 and exchange account and alerts you by push, SMS, voice or webhook — where MetaTrader’s built-in alerts, watching manually and a prop-firm dashboard each cover only part of that.
You already have some way of keeping an eye on your accounts — the terminal’s own alerts, your own attention, or a prop firm’s dashboard. Here’s an honest look at where a dedicated, read-only risk monitor is different, and where the others are genuinely fine.

| Keeps watching when your terminal is closedExchange & broker accounts are watched from the cloud around the clock. MetaTrader needs its terminal running (typically on a VPS you aren't looking at) — and if that terminal ever stops, Chartping says so out loud rather than going quiet. | Partial | No | No | Yes |

MetaTrader's built-in alerts
Great for what they are: price and indicator alerts inside the terminal. They don't watch account-level risk (daily loss, drawdown, margin), they're tied to a terminal that has to stay open, and each one only covers that one terminal. Chartping watches the risk numbers across every account and keeps going when the terminal is closed.
A prop firm's dashboard
Shows your real numbers for the account with that firm — which is genuinely useful. But it only covers that one account, at that one firm, and usually only while you're looking at it. It won't watch the other accounts you trade, and it rarely pushes a proactive early warning to your phone.
Read-only, whichever you use
Chartping only ever reads your accounts — it can't place, modify or close an order, and never has withdrawal access. It's a monitoring and alerting tool, not a trading system: it tells you where you stand against the limits you set, and you decide what to do.
