SMS Alerts — Terms & Opt-In
These terms govern the Chartping SMS alert program operated by TrendSoft Ltd (chartping.com). They explain what messages you receive, how you opt in and out, and how we treat your phone number.
Program & message type
The Chartping SMS alert program sends recurring automated price and trade alert text messages — for example an early warning as one of the limits you configured (daily loss, drawdown-from-peak or margin level) is approached, or a critical alert when a limit is breached. These are account-monitoring notifications only; Chartping never sends marketing or promotional texts through this program, and never investment advice or trading signals.
Sample message: “Chartping CRITICAL [ACME-LIVE]: margin level 95%. Reply STOP to opt out.”
How you opt in
SMS alerts are off by default. You opt in inside the Chartping app, at Notifications → SMS Alerts:
- Enter your mobile number (with its country code) and request a verification code.
- Enter the 6-digit code we text you, to confirm the number is yours.
- Tick the consent box — unticked by default — to give your express consent. The exact consent language is: “I agree to receive recurring automated price and trade alert text messages from Chartping at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
- Tap Enable SMS alerts. The button stays disabled until the box is ticked.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using Chartping; you can use every other alert channel (in-app, push, desktop, webhooks) without enabling SMS.

Message frequency varies based on your configured alerts.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out & help
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; we will send a single confirmation and then stop. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at [email protected]. You can also turn SMS alerts off, or remove your number, anytime under Notifications → SMS Alerts in the app.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Alerts are best-effort and delivery is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used only to deliver the alerts you asked for. We do not sell it, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Numbers are processed by our SMS provider (Telnyx, USA) solely to send your messages.
